Dear Mrs. Ramirez,

My name is Tiffany M. Ortiz. I am applying for the position of a Art Teacher with your school. I heard about the opening position from a close colleague of mine that used to work for your school.

The subject that I teach is Creative Arts. The age range of students I taught is between 12-18 years of age. I have been teaching this subject for 10 years and working with children since I was 14 years old. I enjoy working hands-on with the students because it creates a challenge for me.

Many of the students I have taught art to presented many pieces in art galleries and award showcases. I have taught in classrooms with as many as 30 students. I enjoy staying after class just so my students fully understand the assignment I gave them. I have also participated in after school programs with the students. I have taught students how to create many different types of art such as collages, paintings, drawings, models as well as many other forms of art.
